Questions
- Are my files uploaded anywhere?
- No. Every tool on this site runs entirely inside your browser using JavaScript — your file is never uploaded to a server, because there is no server. You can confirm it by opening your browser’s network tab, or by disconnecting from the internet once the page has loaded: the tool still works.
- How many PDFs can I merge at once?
- There is no fixed limit. Files are read one at a time rather than all at once, so large batches work — but very large documents are limited by your device’s memory, since all the work happens locally.
- Can I change the order of the files?
- Yes. Once the files are added you can reorder them before merging, and the output follows that order exactly.
- Will merging reduce the quality of my PDFs?
- No. Pages are copied across as-is, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution. Merging does not re-compress anything.
- Does it work on a phone?
- Yes. The whole flow — add files, reorder, merge, download — works in a mobile browser. Very large files may be slower on a phone than on a laptop.
