Terms of Service
Last updated 30 July 2026
These terms cover your use of the Quicky PDF website. They are written to be read, not to be impressive.
Using the site
By using Quicky PDF you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it.
The site is free to use for personal and commercial work alike. There is no account, no usage limit and no watermark added to anything you produce.
Signatures are a visual mark only
The signing tool places your signature onto the page as an image. It is a visual mark, not a certified or legally binding digital signature.
It carries no cryptographic proof and asserts nothing about who signed. If you need a legally recognised electronic signature, use a service built for that purpose.
Redaction removes what you cover, and only that
Redacting turns each page you draw on into a picture of itself, so the words underneath are genuinely gone rather than hidden behind a black rectangle. That part is not a matter of trust: the finished file is checked before you are given it, and you are not given it at all if the covered words can still be read.
What it cannot do is know what you meant to cover. It removes what is inside the boxes you drew, on the pages you drew them on. If the same detail appears elsewhere in the document it stays. Where we can tell — because words you hid also appear on a page you did not touch — you are told afterwards, and those warnings are worth reading.
Check the result before relying on it, particularly before sending it to anyone. Deciding what needed to go, and confirming it did, is yours.
Redacting also removes every comment, link, form field, bookmark and accessibility tag from the whole document, not only the redacted pages. You are shown what will go before you commit, and the file on your device is never modified.
Repair is a best effort
Repairing rebuilds a damaged file’s structure from whatever is still intact. Many broken PDFs come back; some do not, and a file cut short in transfer is missing content nothing can reconstruct.
Where pages survive but their contents did not, those pages are named rather than left for you to find blank later. Keep the original until you have checked the result.
Comparing documents
Comparing looks at the text in two files and shows what differs. It does not compare pictures, layout or formatting, and a scanned page holds no text to compare — those pages are reported as such rather than shown as rewritten. It is a reading aid, not an authoritative record of what changed between two versions of an agreement.
The Office conversions
The Word, Excel and PowerPoint conversions run on a server we operate, using LibreOffice. Converting between document formats is approximate by nature: fonts you have and the converter does not are substituted, and complex layouts, macros, embedded objects and tracked changes may not survive. Check the output before sending it anywhere that matters.
Your uploaded file is deleted as soon as the result is returned, and its contents are never logged. We do not guarantee the service is available, and a conversion may fail on a file that is password protected, damaged, or uses something the converter does not understand.
Your documents are your responsibility
You are responsible for the documents you open here, and for having the right to modify them.
These tools change files. Keep your own copy of anything important — because everything happens in your browser, we have no copy of your work and cannot recover it for you.
Acceptable use
Do not use these tools to alter documents in order to deceive, defraud or misrepresent — for example forging a signature, or changing a record you are not entitled to change.
Do not attempt to disrupt the site for other people.
Provided as-is
The site is free and provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it is free of bugs, that every PDF will process exactly as you expect, or that it will always be available.
For the tools that run on your own device, results depend on your browser and how much memory it has: a very large document may be slow, or fail on a phone where it would succeed on a laptop. For the Office conversions, which run on our server, there is a file size limit and a time limit, and either may refuse a document that is simply too large.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost documents, lost data or other losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing here removes rights you have that cannot legally be removed.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top of this page shows when they last did.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, where Round Social LLC is incorporated, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
If a dispute cannot be resolved by contacting us first, it will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction. There is no arbitration clause and no class-action waiver in these terms.
